What Minecraft books are there?
There are three broad kinds. Official Mojang handbooks and guides, such as the Guide to Redstone and the Survival Handbook. Official novels, including Max Brooks's The Island, The Mountain and The Village. And unofficial chapter-book and diary series for younger readers, such as Diary of an 8-Bit Warrior and Diary of a Minecraft Zombie. This site lists them together.
What age are Minecraft books suitable for?
It depends on the series rather than the brand. Chapter books and diary series are written for roughly ages 6 to 9, official handbooks for roughly 8 to 12, and the full-length novels for roughly 10 and up. Every book listed here shows its reading age.
Which Minecraft book should I start with?
For a younger reader, book one of a chapter-book series, because the series continues if they enjoy it. For a confident reader, Minecraft: The Island by Max Brooks is the best-known standalone novel and a common starting point. Series pages here list their books in reading order.
